FAQ

In the video below you'll learn more about the GriPuro loop and also some do's and don'ts.

This section will be updated pending the (frequently asked) questions we get.

  • Note: due to the nature of leather your GriPuro loop may differ from the picture. This might be a slight variation in colour or a slight variation in texture.
  • Note: as part of quality control (Q.C.), the GriPuro loop is wrapped around an object for a certain periode of time. Depending on what type of leather the loop might seem ‘used’, but this is due to the Q.C. unless stated otherwise.
  • Note: the leather that we use is of high quality but leather due to it being an organic material is prone to a certain degree of wear. Therefore it’s normal that after certain period of time there will be traces of use.
  • Note: leather has a rigid direction and a stretch direction. The rigid direction is lengthwise and is checked in Q.C. wether it's rigid enough. However, it might very well be that if one were to pull on the GriPuro loop crosswise the stretchy properties of the leather might warp your loop. This does not fall under warranty if so.
  • Note: depending on the type of leather the back can be more fuzzy/hairy. We try our best to get the edges as smooth as possible, but it happens that during Q.C. some strands of fuzz were oriented in a different direction and therefore not noticable.

By using the GriPuro loop it might very well be that once in a while some strands might be visible on the edges.

If so, we apologize for that, but there is a quick fix. Just direct it the other way with your thumb or a moustache comb.
